Paola Florez - (Registered Music Together Teacher)

Paola has been of member of the Music Together community for approximately eight years, first as a parent and now, in her sixth year as a teacher. She is a wonderful dancer and brings her knowledge of movement to her work with young children. This past summer she was on the production team for "A Dream for Peace", a show with songs and dances for hope and unity in the world, performed by kids ages 5 - 16.  Paola has also been teaching Spanish to children in grades Pre-K through K at the Southampton Montessori School for the past three years. She has a B.A. in Communication from William Paterson College(Wayne, NJ) and a M.A. in Media Studies from The New School University (NYC). Paola is the proud mother of Isabella(6) and Dante(2).

Laura Engel - (Registered Music Together Teacher)

Laura Engel is an actress and performing arts educator. She has performed on stage, film and television since the age of 14 in venues from New York City to Miami and on the East End. She received her training at Bard College, New York University, and The New School majoring in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Theater. Laura is a Registered Music Together Teacher, happily conducting classes in East Hampton, NY. She is also the Music Teacher at the Rainbow Preschool in Sag Harbor, and the Middle School Librarian at Ross School in East Hampton, NY. Laura has been the Music Teacher at Stella Maris Preschool and has conducted Music and Creative Drama classes and workshops in NYC and in the Hamptons at the Children’s Museum of the East End, Ross Lower School, The Art Farm, Art House Engel and Summercamp @ Ross.  She resides in Sag Harbor with her husband and their two children.
